The Jacksonville Noon Rotary Club has joined forces with the Morgan County Historical Society, to assist in the rehabilitation of the entire former U.S. Post Office building at 301 East State, Jacksonville. Once completed, this historic structure will house the Heritage Cultural Museum, highlighting this area's past.

To commemorate Rotary's Centennial in 2005, which coincides with the 100-year anniversary of the construction of the Old Post Office, the Jacksonville Rotary will be providing the project's landscaping, including a garden area addition on the south side of the building, decorative features and replacing the parking lot, driveway, curbing and sidewalks around the building.
